The voucher program supports small-to-medium enterprises that are value-adding to the state’s raw agricultural produce. It aims to help businesses increase their resilience and sustainability, competiveness and scale; as well as export preparedness. The vouchers also help businesses develop strategies to capture market opportunities and overcome challenges.
The Agrifood and Beverage Voucher program is supported by the State Government through its Royalties for Regions program aimed at supporting regional economic development in non-metropolitan WA. Metropolitan-based businesses are also supported through the Food and Beverage fund—a $16.7 m program to supercharge food and beverage manufacturing and value-adding across the state.
Round Five - successful recipients (announced March 2024)
Sixty-one small businesses across regional and metropolitan WA were successful with their applications for 69 vouchers to access expert advice to build resilience and sustainability, competitiveness, scale and export preparedness into their operations. Round 5 vouchers represent $470,711 of Government support, with an industry co-investment of $741,642.
Each business was eligible to receive up to two vouchers to a combined value of up to $20 000 across five categories of professional services. Congratulations to the successful recipients.
