Biosecurity approvals and publications

The Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007 and associated regulations, and other legislation administered by the department, may allow the Director General to approve, declare or publish such things as:

  • forms
  • the manner in which notification may be made
  • treatments to satisfy quarantine requirements
  • treatments to satisfy control requirements
  • tests to determine the presence or absence of things
  • movement requirements for potential carriers.
