Climate situation and outlook
Rainfall outlook for September 2024 from the Bureau of Meteorology, updated 15 August, shows neutral to wetter rain chances for agricultural areas. The seasonal rainfall outlook for September to November 2024 is largely neutral, meaning no strong preference for wetter or drier conditions. International climate models are also showing neutral or wetter rainfall outlooks for southern WA for September to November 2024, from their August runs.
The pattern of above normal temperatures continues into early spring, with chances of unusually high daytime temperatures being elevated in most parts.
