Facilitating pathways to Chinese investment

NBF Agribusiness and Investment Development Manager, Daniel Marshall, will present key insights to stakeholders

Attracting integrated investment into the WA beef supply chain is one of the objectives of Northern Beef Futures (NBF) to grow the industry in Western Australia.

A report on Chinese investment into the Australian agribusiness, relevant to WA industry, is in the final stages of completion by specialist advisory firm, VC Group.

The report ‘Profiling China Agribusiness (Beef) Investment in Australia’, commissioned by NBF, details investment pathways from China into the Australian agribusiness industry, with a focus on the beef supply chain.

NBF Agribusiness and Investment Development Manager Daniel Marshall said promotional strategies identified in the report will help inform a range of forums planned by NBF to attract and secure integrated Chinese investment into the WA beef industry.

The report includes details of the role of government, the banking sector and other stakeholders involved in Chinese outbound agribusiness investment.

NBF will present key insights to stakeholders and at the Global AgInvesting Asia Conference 2015.
