Applications closed on 30 September 2016 and grants are currently being finalised.
Grants of up to $1 million are available for the construction of up to two (2) domestic cattle holding yards, to adjoin existing export-accredited depots in the Kimberley region that are to be publicly accessible to industry on completion.
The construction will allow for the movement of cattle south to domestic markets, without impacting on the quarantine status of existing export accredited depots, and also provide a standalone yard facility in the event of a disease outbreak or change in animal health status.
An information toolkit and guidelines are available in the documents section on this webpage.
Applications are invited from owners or operators of existing export-accredited depots in the Kimberley region, only. Other criteria are also applicable. For full terms and conditions please refer to the guidelines and toolkit.
Applications closed on 30 September 2016.
