My role in the department
Yu-Yi joined the department in 2020 as a Technical Officer working in various grape and wine research and development activities, while also supporting other horticultural activities including apples and citrus.
My background
Yu-Yi grew up on her family orchard and completed a BBA in Taiwan. While completing a Diploma of Horticulture at Bunbury TAFE, Yu-Yi worked at a large nursery in Donnybrook for 6 years, which specialised in native ornamental, vegetable and plantation plants. She was tasked with pest and disease monitoring, formulating nutritional programs, propagation scheduling and conducting in-house trials.
