My role in the department
My background
My research aims to enhance livestock feed efficiency, measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the economic sustainability of the Australian livestock industry through innovative approaches and global collaborations. My extensive experience and training in sustainable agriculture, animal nutrition, greenhouse gas emissions, feed formulation, proteomic and genomic data analysis, statistical modelling were gained during my PhD studies and Postdoc research at the University of New England, NSW.
Projects
- Comparison and validation of methane emission measurements from Greenfeed and Portable Accumulation Chambers for Sheep – as Principal Investigator at DPIRD (On going)
- Annual methane emissions profile for sheep grazing pasture in southern WA - as Principal Investigator at DPIRD (beginning in March 2024)
