My role in the department
Alistair is a Technical Officer for the Soil Re-engineering project in Northam; sampling, processing and analysing the chemical and physical properties of soil during amelioration.
My background
Alistair commenced work as a casual for Wheat Agronomy projects in Esperance (seasonally: 2009 - 2012, 2019). From 2014 to 2016, Alistair was intermittently based in South Perth as a Technical Officer for the Plant Pathology, Nematology and Frost projects, responsible for processing soil samples for chemical analysis at CSBP.
Alistair has a BSc (Hons) from UWA (Pathology and Microbiology, 2012), with honours research at Royal Perth Hospital (2013). From 2016 to 2019, Alistair worked in medical diagnostic laboratories (cytology, PCR and biochemistry).
