My role in the department

I am the Field Research Manager for a project delivering technical services and equipment to research projects. The field research teams are regionally based in Geraldton, Wongan Hills, Northam, Merredin, Katanning and Esperance. The research teams and facilties are the glue who allow the Agronomy, Genetic Improvement, Soil Productivity and Crop Protection programs to deliver world class research aimed at increasing sustainable production and improved profitability to the WA grains industry.

My background

I have more than 30 years experience in agricultural research and industry development of pulse crops in Australia at DPIRD. My experience combines a background in project management, grains/pulse research, development and communication and research administration.
