Make quick reports of invertebrate pests and beneficials from crop and pasture paddocks.
You can now report crop and pasture pests and beneficials directly from the paddock using the PestFacts reporter app on your smart phone or tablet. Reporting only takes a few seconds as all common crop types and pests can be selected from lists within the app. If you like you can add extra information, include a photo, or ask for a call back to discuss the situation. No problem if you are out of mobile range, the app will send your report as soon as it gets a connection.
PestFacts app allows quick reporting of any invertebrate pests or beneficials in crop and pasture to the PestFacts South-Eastern newsletter. PestFacts app makes it very easy for anyone in the grains industry to report any pests that they find, so that everyone is aware of potential problems in their area. To make a report, choose the crop or pasture type from the host plant list, choose the problem from the problem list, press “send report”, and you are done. If you like you can add other information from lists of crop variety, crop growth stage and severity of the problem. Up to 3 photos can be attached. You can also ask for a call back or an email reply from an expert if you would like to discuss what you have found. PestFacts app will automatically include your current location when you press the send report button. You can send reports even if you don’t have a mobile connection. PestFacts app will save your report and send it for you as soon as you get in range.
