My role in the department
I work as a biometrician (statistician) and my role involves working with staff from a wide range of projects to support accurate analysis and interpretation of data collected from experiments and other sources. I also manage the biometrics project.
I have over 10 years experience as a biometrician with the department. Research areas that I have assisted to a large extent include sheep and dairy production, sheep and cattle worm control, crop agronomy and disease, and farm scale experimentation. I have presented over 30 courses covering topics such as design of experiments, analysis of variance, survey design and analysis, pivot tables, GenStat software and the R statistical program.
