My role in the department
Ranny is a techinical officer based in Geraldton and joined DPIRD in September 2022. She is part of the Farming Systems Innovation team, working on the ‘Increasing farming systems profitability and longevity of benefits following soil amelioration’ project. Ranny provides technical support in the field and laboratory, maintaining trials, collecting samples and processing them in the laboratory.
My background
Ranny has 5 years of varied experience within the forestry industry in Kununurra, Western Australia, which incorporates pest and disease management, forestry research and development, field surveillance, contractor supervision and forest protection management.
