My role in the department

McKenzie is a Technical Officer based in Esperance, who is part of the Farming Systems Innovation team working on the soil amelioration project. Her role in the project involves providing technical support for field and laboratory trials including trial maintenance, sample collection and sample processing.

My background

McKenzie assisted in biological research in both the field and laboratory since 2016 in both the USA and Western Australia. McKenzie joined DPIRD in 2019 and has been intermittently based in Esperance and Northam providing technical assistance in several grain research projects from a wide range of portfolios, including soil management and crop nutrition, crop protection, crop science and grain production.
