Primary Industries Development 2020 Research Trials Map

In 2020 the Department is conducting over 300 Grains Research trials across the state from Kununurra in the north to Esperance in the south. These trials cover five themed areas: crop protection, genetic improvement, crop science and grain production, soil science and crop nutrition, and field research. Trials are also under way in Farming Systems Innovation, Horticulture and Livestock.

The success of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development's trial series is made possible through the partnership of the following organisations; Grains Research and Development Corporation, Centre for Crop and Disease Management, University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University, South Australian Research and Development, New South Wales Department of Primary Industries, University of Queensland, Meat and Livestock Australia, WANTFA, SEPWA and CSIRO.
