Building Horticulture Business Capacity Program

Page last updated: Friday, 6 August 2021 - 12:29pm

The Building Horticulture Business Capacity Program is now open. The program will provide high quality, tailored business training to individual vegetable and apple enterprises.

Successful applicants will learn skills in business analysis and data collection and receive expert advice and an examination of farm management practises to improve the overall viability of their business.

The Program will use industry benchmarking to enable participants to identify opportunities to modify their horticulture enterprises so they can improve profit margins, business resilience and sustainability.

The Program builds on an earlier pilot project designed for vegetable growers managed by vegetablesWA since 2017. The updated program is a collaboration between DPIRD, vegetablesWA and PomeWest.

The Program, delivered by experienced agricultural consultants, will cover the full cost of participation.

Places to participate in the free Building Horticulture Business Capacity Program are limited. For more information and to register visit the Building Horticulture Business Capacity Program website.
