2017/2018 Viticulture spray guide now available

The Viticulture spray guide is a valuable resource for producers, providing a comprehensive list of agrochemicals registered for use in viticulture tailored to Western Australia’s specific growing conditions.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s 2017/2018 Viticulture Spray Guide is now available for WA wine and table grape growers.

The guide is a valuable resource for producers, providing a comprehensive list of agrochemicals registered for use in viticulture tailored to Western Australia’s specific growing conditions.

The department has been producing the guide since 2001.

The content of the new guide remains similar to previous editions, with information presented on the following topics:

  • pesticide safety and regulation
  • pesticide resistance
  • spray options for:
    • diseases
    • insects, mites and molluscs
    • herbicides
    • plant growth regulators
  • pest monitoring and treatment calendar.

Features of the new edition include:

  • free download directly from the department’s website
  • updated content throughout the season as new information becomes available
  • links to additional information and websites
  • searchable content.
