Department to deliver key findings at Research Updates 2018

Twenty-five Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development research and development officers will showcase their latest research, technology, developments and management innovations to improve the productivity and profitability of the WA grains industry, at the 2018 Grains Research Updates in Perth on 26-27 February.

New maps enrich lupin breeding technologies

Advances in the performance of future lupin varieties are set to take a significant leap forward, with the development of two new molecular maps to aid plant breeding.

Broadcare Agronomy Webinar Series

Six Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development  research officers presented at the biennial Australian Agronomy Conference in Ballarat, Victoria last year. 

The department hosted a free webinar series towards the end of last year, providing the Western Australian grains industry with access to the key information presented at the conference by our staff.
