Food, export & investment

The Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA) supports the success of our State’s world-renowned agrifood sector which produces high-quality, safe and healthy agricultural, food and fibre products for domestic and international markets. Western Australia is one of the most pest- and disease-free agricultural production areas in the world.

As a result of stringent safety and quality systems our primary industries provide premium quality food and beverage products to local and international clients. DAFWA also works to identify and develop international market opportunities for agrifood businesses and attract investment into the State.
