FSANZ develops standards that regulate the use of ingredients, processing aids, colourings, additives, vitamins and minerals in food. The Food Standards Code also covers the composition of some foods, e.g. dairy, meat and beverages, as well as standards developed for new technologies such as genetically modified foods.
It is also responsible for some labelling requirements for packaged and unpackaged food, e.g. advisory labels or specific mandatory warnings (i.e. food allergens).
This Western Australian Government agency is focused on developing the small business sector, such as business advisors and a licencing centre.
