SoilsWest and Soil Science Australia (Western Australian branch), with support from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and the South-West WA Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub, invite you to celebrate World Soil Day 2022, Monday December 5 at the State Library of Western Australia Theatre.

Connect with your community and hear exciting perspectives from leading soil researchers, practitioners, industry, producers, and students across four themes:

  • Roots Run Deep: First Nations knowledge

  • Landscapes: Perspectives at scale

  • Where Food Begins: Healthy soil, healthy food

  • Back to Earth: Recycling and re-evaluating

Speakers include : Paul Galloway, Tim Overheu,  Bede Mickan, Tona Sanchez-Palacios, George Mercer, Jim Campbell-Clause and Angela Stuart-Street, plus more.

Complementary morning tea, lunch, and light refreshments at the sundowner will be provided.
