At the Busselton Show, the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia will be present with officers from the Small Landholder Information Service and an educational trailer to provide children with a greater awareness of agriculture as the source of our food and the many and varied career opportunities in the sector.
The Department of Agriculture and Food display also features the latest information on sustainably managing land, orchards or livestock and visitors can register to receive the latest newsletters including South West AgMemo and the Small Landholder Information Service e-news.
Primary school aged children can have some fun completing the free agricultural discovery trail and have a chance to win some great prizes.
Thanks to the State Government, free entry is provided to children aged 16 and under when accompanied by an adult.
