Participate in upcoming Ag-Tech Hackathon

DPIRD’s eConnected Grainbelt Project team has committed to sponsoring and assisting to run the inaugural Ag-Tech Hackathon in the Perth CBD, to be held from 27-29 July, 2018.

The project team is working in conjunction with other DPIRD departments and the Ministry of Data (MoD) – a not-for-profit, voluntary venture which hosts hackathons to solve technological problems – to organise the upcoming event.

The agriculturally-themed hackathon will bring together ag-tech industry participants and talented developers, who will attempt to find answers to real world problems faced by growers and industry.

We are seeking mentors for the day(s) to guide participants who are attempting to solve industry problems, and to provide general agricultural knowledge.

Various roles are available leading up to and during the event – we need participants, mentors, bloggers – and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to contact team member Samantha Scott on W: (08) 9368 3748 or E:
