The Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia supports the growth of Western Australia’s agrifood sector in four key areas: markets, productivity, profitability and people.

For schools, a range of secondary education resources about food and fibre have been compiled for teaching students from years 10-12.

  • Paraboss - a suite of three products developed for the management of blowflies, worms and lice. Links to the WormBoss, FlyBoss and LiceBoss websites provide detailed management information and regional programs that will assist in managing the major parasite risks for sheep

  • Red meat: the green facts - environmental sustainability of the Australian red meat and livestock industry and covers the key areas of reducing emissions, reducing water use and managing the land
