Quarantine
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) works hard to prevent the introduction of exotic pests, diseases and weeds found in other states and territories of Australia.
DPIRD, through Quarantine WA is involved with:
- Developing and maintaining biosecurity and quarantine legislation including importing requirements.
- Providing information on export requirements.
- Providing advice on quarantine matters or potential quarantine risk material.
