Area sown of wheat varieties in Western Australia between 2012-2017

The top 30 wheat varieties sown in WA in 2017

The tables below display the top 1-10 (Table 1) and then the top 11-30 (Table 2) wheat varieties by percentage of area sown, grown in Western Australia in 2017. The tables track the areas sown to these varieties from 2012 to 2017. The Most obvious change from 2016 to 2017 in the top 10 table is the increase in area sown to Scepter and subsequent decrease the area sown to Mace. Another change to note is the increase in area sown to the newer noodle variety Zen and the decrease in area sown to older noodle variety Calingiri.
