My role in the department
I am a Development Officer in crop production agronomy, based in Geraldton, for the Regional Research Agronomy Project funded by DPIRD, GRDC and Royalties for Regions. My role focuses on translating science into practicality for farmers by contributing to locally relevant research, development and extension. I work closely with the Regional Cropping Solutions Network, researchers, grower groups, growers and agribusiness in the Geraldton port zone.
I have completed a degree in agriculture and worked in small horticultural enterprises in the Perth area. I am interested in the numerous opportunities available in broadacre agriculture and am continuing to learn more about agriculture in the northern wheatbelt.
