Expressions of Interest (EOI) will soon be open to telecommunications carriers to partner with the State Government in a project to deliver improved digital connectivity to pastoralists, local businesses and communities in the Northern Goldfields.

A total of $1 million has been allocated from the State Government’s Agricultural Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund to provide fast, reliable, scalable and affordable broadband to the districts of Leonora, Laverton and Menzies.

Submissions are encouraged from companies that supply terrestrial or non-terrestrial telecommunications services, including providers of emerging digital connectivity options.

To register your interest, please contact Robert Smallwood from the Agricultural Technology team on 0428 210 710 or send an email to AgTech@dpird.wa.gov.au.

Alternatively, revisit this page regularly to discover a link to the EOI process.
