Australian Year of the Farmer
The Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia works to profile the many achievements of our State’s agriculture and food sector with the aim to attract and increase local and international investment.
The Department fully supports and encourages the Australian Year of the Farmer (AYOF) program and its Australia-wide campaign to highlight the importance of our farmers.
The Department will be supporting this initiative at several events throughout the year including field days, Royal Show and the Careers Expo. We will also continue celebrating Australian farmers and growers throughout our publications by highlighting the vital role they play in feeding Australians and generating valuable export income.
