Annual pastures species
Sub-Categories:
Subclover and annual medics up until recently have been the most widely grown annual legumes in Western Australia. There has been a constant release of new varieties which now provides farmers with a wider choice of pasture species. The new pastures can be used to fill niches within today’s farming systems and are better suited to the more intensive cropping rotations. Subclover and medics however still have a role to play in some farming systems and remain widely grown.
