Workshops Make Farm Paperwork Mountain a Molehill

                          8 June, 2009

Partners in Grain’s (PinG) is providing farmers with the opportunity to learn more about home office organisation and how to deal with all that paper work.

Workshops in office procedures will be hosted by presenter Jeanette Buegge in June, July and August across the wheatbelt.

The next workshops will be held in Nyabing on June 29, Wagin on June 30 and Narrogin on July 1.

PinG co-ordinator Julianne Hill said the workshops would cover topics from filing, records and paying staff through to office design and equipment.

“The workshops, which have been held throughout the wheatbelt during the past two years, have attracted more than 460 farmers and glowing reviews,” she said.

For more information about upcoming workshops or to register for the Nyabing or Narrogin workshops phone Ms Hill on 98381997 or email jrhill@agric.wa.gov.au

To register for the Wagin workshop phone Danielle Perrie on 9861 2222 or email www.landcare@agric.wa.gov.au

PinG is a national project funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation, with Diamond Sponsorship from ANZ Banking Group, and is supported by the Department of Agriculture and Food.

PinG aims to build the capacity of the WA Grains Industry by encouraging the participation of all those within the farm business unit, through professional development.
