Climate Risks and Opportunities Project (CROP)
The Department's Climate Risks and Opportunities Project conducts research and development in key areas of climate variability, climate change, crop yield forecasting, climate forecasting, weather monitoring and decision support systems to improve the adoption of profitable and sustainable farming systems to manage climate risks.

Real-time and Historical Weather Data
Real time and historical weather data from DAFWA weather stations. Includes daily and monthly precipitation, soil temperatures, wind speed and direction. Radar and satellite images, cumulative rainfall graphs, average annual rainfall map from the Bureau of Meteorology and long term frost risk maps [Updated June 2008]. -
Season Conditions Maps
Current rainfall maps are located within the Growing Season Outlook and the Seasonal Updates, plant available soil moisture maps [latest 1 June 2009], wheat yield forecast maps [Updated 2 November 2008] and frost watch maps.
