                          Western Oat Alliance Field Day

The inaugural WOA Field Day was held at Highbury in September 2005 to coincide with the launch of Kojonup. The next WOA Field Day will be held in September/October 2007.

                          WA Hay Seminar 2007

Following on from the successful York Hay Seminar in 2006, the Western Oat Alliance with the Australian Fodder Industry Association will be presenting another seminar at El Caballo on Tuesday 6 March2007. Presenters will be industry leaders from WA and over east covering latest agronomic management, super conditioners, product safety, sampling and hay preservatives. The seminar will also include a forum with a panel of experts discussing chemical use and recommendations. The latest research on sensory testing (animal preferences for hay) will be presented in conjunction with implications for oat breeding and export hay markets.

You will also have the opportunity to visit sponsor displays, speak with industry leaders and morning/afternoon tea and lunch will be provided. Download the registration form for more information and return to Anne Fleming at AFIA prior to 27 February 2007.
